A Generational Opportunity

1966 – The 561 square meter lot on Ongpin was bought (bigger than the 382 square meters of Hall 2)

1968 – Construction of the original two-story structure commenced. Eventually, it was completed and saints began meeting there in 1971

Back then, the brothers opening the offering box saw money as well as jewelry. Not because saints were wealthy. Rather, it was because the saints of that generation (who were ordinary people) desired to have a part and they faithfully carried out that desire, even though they did not have much.

“And He saw a certain impoverished widow casting there two lepta. And He said, Truly I tell you that this poor widow has cast in more than all of them, For all these out of their surplus have cast in something into the gifts, but she out of her lack has cast in all the living that she had” (Luke 21:2-4)

The Lord placed value not on the amount given but on the heart behind the giving.

2026 – A time for rebuilding.
